That is a short amount of time to decide to marry, but it would depend on the maturity level of both people. I've met very mature young adults at that age, and also ones you think will NEVER grow up and take life and their responsibilities seriously.
I also think it helps if both people have a Godly view of marriage and understand and realize that this is a lifetime commitment. It just seems to help their dedication to their marriage vows in general, and when problems arise, they may try even harder to resolve things.

I got married the week after I turned 19. We are celebrating 31 years next week. Every marriage has some bumps along the way, but overall we have had a pretty terrific marriage, and I have never regretted getting married so young.

my husband and i know eachother for 6 months and he asked me to married him, i was 21 at the time, we got married that june , we had been together for 13 months and are still going strong 4 years later, we also have our up and downs but when i look at my childern i know that it does not matter how old you are as long as you love eachother, my cousin was 18 when she got marreid and she has been married for 6 years and has two little boys so i don't think age has anything to do with, it all about love

My husband and I knew each other only 3 months, and got married 3 months later, that was 22 years ago. Yes we have our ups and downs. It can work. Encourage them when they hit their downs.

I was 20 and my husband was 21. We just had our 8 year anniversary and doing great! Don't worry when you don't have to!

hey girl you seem like you want them to break up...That's not very nice...It's their personal life...Of course they should last and live happily together...Fights are common in all relationships...It lasts as long as the love is strong..
