I'm talking about relationship wise. My friend and I were talking the other day when she said if she caught her boyfriend kissing another woman she would brake up with him on the spot BUT if she caught her boyfriend sleeping with another person she would work at gaining his trust again. I am the complete opposite.
My definition of cheating is any sexual contact (kissing, groping, sex) with another person that your partner is not aware of IS cheating.
What's your definition?

I agree with your definition..... your friend is a bit backward...
I also think there can be "emotional cheating".... getting too involved with each other when it gets beyond friendship....

I like President Clinton's quote:
" I did not have sexual relations with that woman, but she did give me head"
I guess according to a president, if it's not intercourse it's not cheating. Kissing is more intimate, that's why prostitutes don't kiss and only have sex.

That is backwards, if she caught him sleeping with another woman she would break up with him. At least I would. I agree with you any sexual contact as stated above is cheating.

Anything more than a passing thought is cheating. No flirting, staring, touching, kissing, etc will be tolerated.

I think that Cheating is doing something with somebody else than you would only do with the person you are already with. Such as kissing is something somebody would only do with their partner, so if somebody does it with someone else, its cheating

ANYTHING that you would not do in front of your partner. Even over the top flirtation is a no-no with me. I wouldn't want it done to me and I wouldn't do it to someone that I cared about.

Anything that brings dishonor to your spouse or significant other. There are obviously many levels to cheating.

I only call it cheating if I get caught!
Otherwise the world is my oyster - if no-one knows about it, & I don't get caught out, no-one suffers.
