do you mean together in the same piece or in the same outfit?
in both cases it's ok, even though in the second case I would keep the silver to a minimum, as pearls are ment to be a statement.

I like them best this way. Or with gold. Pearls by themselves look pretty dull, unless you are going for the 1950's Hollywood glam look like Scarlett Johanson. Plain pearls look good then and the bigger the better. Otherwise, pearls alone are boring.

I have some silver and pearl jewelery, it looks great together. Pearls are hot this season. Go for it!

Yes - I think pearls are classic - they go with everything.
[ My son's girlfriend who was kind of goth wore BLACK pearls ].
