Um, because you know, how the egg has a little journey to the womb, so if you have sex while the egg is on the way to the womb or in the womb can you get pregnant, because if the egg doenst get fertilised it all just comes out. So what would happen if you hadnt had your first period and you had sex but the first egg was on the way to the womb.

anything is possible!

The egg is actually fertilized most of the time long before it gets to the "womb" or uterus. It's possible to get pregnant before your first period, but that seems very unlikely to me. And even if the egg is fertilized and makes its way to the womb, that's no guarantee that the zygote/embryo will implant.

1. Get a pregnancy test, it's $5 at the pharmacy, or get someone to buy it for you (like the dude...).
2. Read up some more on pregnancy just so you know what to expect and won't get too worried: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pregnancy

Good luck (either way)!

What would happen if you hadn't had your period, yet your egg was on it's way to the womb? Simple. You'll probably get pregnant. The journey doesn't take THAT long. And once it gets to the womb and not fertilized, THAT'S when you start your monthly. But if there's sperm waiting, guess what? You'll be a mommy.

In regards to your question, two things must come about for a girl to become pregnant: your sperm must reach her vagina in some way and she must produce an egg within six days.

A girl can become pregnant before her first period because her first period comes two weeks after she releases her first egg. It is possible for a girl to become pregnant with her very first release of an egg, so long as there are sperm present when that event happens. The problem is that neither you or she knows when that first release will take place.

Pregnancy for a girl just reaching her first menarche is dangerous. Her body has not completed all the changes needed to carry a child to term. Girls getting pregnant before the age of sixteen have a 400% higher chance of dying during childbirth and are much more likely to give birth prematurely

you're completely right. it's possible. don't listen to the people who say you have to have your period. let me explain:

the female's body ovulates once a month. during ovulation, an egg travels out of the ovaries to the uterus, or womb. once it's out of the ovaries, it's possible for a sperm to reach it and conceive a baby. and when the egg gets old, if it hasn't been fertilized yet, the body flushes it out with a bunch of old tissues and blood. the flushing part is your period, with the blood in the underwear.

do you follow me? during ovulation, you can get pregnant. your period happens afterwards. so if you're ovulating for the first time, and then have sex, you could get pregnant without your body ever needing to flush an old egg out, because the egg turns into a conceived zygote that will grow into a baby.

yes, it's possible. it's rare to have sex while ovulating for the first time before your first period, and get pregnant, but it can happen. so always use protection at any time of the month and even if you don't have your period. i had this book with a bunch of short stories written by teenage moms, and one was by this girl who got pregnant at 13. she hadn't ever had her period, so she figured it was safe to have sex. but her body had ovulated and so she was fertile, and got pregnant.

so yes! it's rare but absolutely possible! all these people are wrong, seriously. you ovulate, then you have your period. and you can get pregnant on your first ovulation and before your first peroid. YES YES YES.

Clever, aren't you?

Yes, you can get pregnant before your first period and for that reason: the ovum (egg) may in fact be on its first journey through the fallopian tubes into the uterus. Essentially this would cause the adolscent to miss their first period entirely and go directly to pregnancy without passing Go or collecting $200.

If you haven't had your first period, you're like 12 right????
So like, what in the world are you doing having sex anyway??
You have a whole life ahead of you, don't waste your innocence now on somebody who doesn't (or possibly won't) care in two months anyway?!?!?!
You are always too young to have sex, unless your married...
God Bless

If you are ovulating and you have had sex (even with a condom, which is not foolproof) you can get pregnant. Best solution to not getting pregnant is not to have sex. I suspect you are terribly young. Leave the boys alone and concentrate on your schooling, kiddo.

Hopefully this is a rhetorical question. The answer is yes, by the way, if you are an exceptionally unlucky little girl.

Yes because it could be your first ovulation before the period. That's when it happens.
