well i know that your everyday activities are controlled by your subconscious mind because you have gotten so used to doing them and most emotions because no matter what someone says you will react anyway you dont have to actually think about what you doing however when your planning something your using the conscious part of your brain because you have to think

You conscious mind receives information through the senses.
Your subconscious, acts on that perception, the action taken is based on information stored in you memory.
Exception to this is the autonomic system, stimuli elicits response, no cognitive process is involved.
