I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge. When I started out, I didn't have much information and spent countless weeks, months and even years learning the ropes by trial and error. I know how valuable information and resources are to people who are starting out from scratch. So I recently decided to use some of my spare time to create a blog with casting notices, audition information, information on getting an agent, demo-reels, resumes, etc. There are far too many scam artists out there who take advantage of those actors who are trying to make their dreams come true. The information and casting notices I provide are totally free and legitimate. Hopefully I can save some people a few bucks and a lot of footwork.

Sincerely,

Alan Baltes

It is also hard to find a job if you are not represented by an agent. See you really are not an actress but you are someone who would like to be an actress. It takes years of training and experience and then it takes luck and looks. IF you are under the age of 18 you will not be able to find any job without your parent's help as you are too young to sign a contract. So continue to be a good actress in your school plays and participate in all speech and drama activites as well and build your experience.

Ask your acting teacher or your actor friends.
