It was kind of awkward.. because he sort of missed. He's so tall ! (6 feet almost) and I'm just barely 5 feet. I guess he estimated wrong haha! I mean hugs from behind are cute, but what are some ways short girls can hug tall boys without it being awkward? Short girls can't wrap their arms around the tall guy's neck! :[

Well, aside from getting (which is very painful and time consuming) surgery to lengthen your arms and legs, just grab where you can when you can really. For example: If he's on the couch, then a hug from behind around the neck is VERY possible. If he's standing up, then his chest or waist is fine(given his and your respective heights that is). Other than that, there really aren't many ways to give a hug to to a taller (or for that matter a shorter) person. Plus that, he's probably feeling really bad about his failure to hug properly and hurting you unintentionally to boot!

Hug a tall guy around the chest and back (so his arms are over your shoulders).
And its then very easy to put your head on his chest (if its more than just a simple friendly hug).

i have this problem too (i'm 5 feet 1" ) i usually just hug them around the tummy / chest and they end up hugging my neck and shoulders. I realized alot of my tall guy friends got a kick out of hugging me and putting their chin on my head :-)

Hug him when he is sitting down, and just hug him at what ever height you are, he will think it is cute...Joke about how he huges you, always takes pressure off and people like people that make them laugh

hold you arms around his upper body and hell either do that the same way or around your shoulders.
