Sure! I forget that, I forget I have something on the stove cooking, I forget I started running water in the kitchen so it would get hot enough to wash dishes, I forget who I just called, why I came upstairs, etc. I also wonder why I put a squirt gun full of water in the kitchen cabinet, where I hid the Christmas presents, when I am supposed to get more hormones........... I'm not worried about Alzheimer's, I just know that I am very busy and a little stressed.

Not YET. But I left the bathroom light on for a while the other night. So FAR have not left the iron on. Have on RARE occasions left the car lights on ( old car, old Granny now). Like the rest of my friends on here I take a lickin' and keep on tickin', LOL! But I can't leave something cooking on the stove and get on my pc or on the phone, or else! ( the kitchen is in the back of the apt is my excuse)

Never left the water running in the bathroom, but have killed my fish like Goldwing a couple of times, leaving the hose on in the pond overnight. Jeez I hate it when that happens, thank goodness I don't have koi! Left my car lights on plenty of times, and my interior light overnight. Once left a pan on the stove and forgot to check it, burned beans! My absent- mindedness usually comes when I get all caught up in something and completely lose track of time.

I've overfilled the kitchen sink a time or two.

Last apartment I had in Florida, when I was still single...I was taking a shower and suddenly realized the ceiling was showering me. The woman upstairs apparently had a bad habit of not closing her shower curtain properly and she'd flood her bathroom floor which would come through my ceiling. Strange feeling, having the whole ceiling showering you.

Not in the bathroom but outside in the flower beds. I left the hose running in one of the beds by a basement window, was distracted, and soon the basement bathroom was flooded. I've been more careful since then!

HA!!! My husband left the water running in the bathroom sink yesterday and left to do some errands. Thankfully, I was home and heard what I thought was the toilet. Went in the bathroom and couldn't believe that the faucet was running.
When he got back I mentioned it and --well......"Not me, I wasn't in the bathroom". Had to remind him that he brushed his teeth before leaving.
Guess my day will come..........sooner than I want to admit.

IF you are asking have I ever overfilled a tub to make a mess, then yes! Once! Worse is forgetting the water running into the Koi pond for refill...forget long enough and you have a very valuable bunch of dead fish.(well, dead fish have no value, but you get my drift). And I have done that far, far too often. Phil

I have a better one than that.
When I was young I cleaned the church building each week for extra money. Once a month the baptistry had to emptied, cleaned and refilled. Need I say more?

NO but I had neighbors up above me who did and it flooded my apartment. The whole kitchen was wet and even sitting in the flourescent light fixtures. What a mess that was.

NO but I have left my reading glasses in the freezer! And found them two days later all frosted over and starring back at me!
