I heard it and instantly loved it. But I'd love some other opinions?

Oh my gosh!!! It's beautiful!! It's like Kayla... only not so common!! I love it! I like names starting with J :) My son is probably going to be names Jay someday... Haha.

Just another trendy, overused Jay- name, to be honest. Jayden, Jaylen, Jayson, Jayde, Jayda, Jaydee, Jaycee, Jaylee, Jayla, etc. ... all with various spellings, and none are all that interesting. Quite literally a dime a dozen at the moment. I'd stay away from Jay- ANYTHING, quite frankly. LOL

Forgot to add all the equally-overused Kayla/McKayla (Michaela), Shayla, Tayla type concoctions. Just another strike against Jayla, I'm afraid. ;) I prefer more interesting, unusual names, personally.

it reminds me of jayla on america's next top model, who was ok, but sometimes kinda a ***** lol. then again, they were all bitchy at some point. sorry getting off topic, the point is that i associate that name with her which is not that good of a thing.

I think it sounds like all those rhyming trendy names Jayla, Kayla, Layla, Shayla, Tayla, Tyla, Skyla, Kyla.......etc.
I don't think it has substance.

I don't like it. It seems empty to me; can you picture a 'Jayla' as a teacher, or an 'Elizabeth'? Of course the Elizabeth seems more professional.

It's ok but it sounds close to JayLo. I always wanted to be Alex (female).
