My husband recently got his car towed from my housing complex we are separated my name is the only one on the lease. anyway it cost him more than a hundred dollars to get it out tow shop which he didnt have therefore i signed an agreement which said he can pay in two weeks since he didnt have the money then and if they dont get their money in 2 weeks im responsible for paying, he swore up and down he would pay for it then but now that it is due he has nothing and he is constantly telling me everyday i will give it to u tomorrow and everyday its a new excuse i told him they will raise my rent if i dont pay and he still wont pay why is he doing this knowing we have kids and i cant afford this extra bill what can i do to get my money ?

I wouldnt have done anything for someone that can come up with that many excuses rather than just getting off of his butt and doing something ..... even if he was on a corner holding a sign asking for money

you are probably out of luck for the money now but it may help you in the long run. First realize you don't need to be married to someone like this and file for divorce - go to legal aid if you can't afford an attorney and file for child support at the same time. you might even call the towing company and explain the situation to them and have it towed again and let them keep he car this time. good Luck to you!!

Well it sounds like he isnt good with his money. He should go to a payday advance and get you the $200.00
I would lay out some options for him. But i bet it is the last time you will help him out again.

Cut him out of your life and take the agreement to the courthouse and file a small claims suit against him.

yeah that is VERY disrespectful. Tell him that he's going to either give you your money by the end of the week or you're asking for more in alimony.

it is disrespectful, and u shouldn't be so believing next time. never vouch for others when your own money is on the line, take care of yourself and next time don't trust him again ever. don't make yourself responsible for others .
