No. It isn't. It is dislike of the performance of stereotype.

Yes, it is internalized homophobia. Someone's manner can be annoying but that is not a reason to "dislike" that person. Sometimes I feel annoyed by effeminate men but I force myself to concentrate on more important parts of someone's personality. Mannerisms are NOT the most important quality in a human being, wouldn't you agree?

Maybe yes and maybe no. It depends on how much you "hate" effeminate guys. If it's just for one guy or a guy or two in particular, then no. If it's for ALL guys like this, then I'd have to say yes. And to answer that you'll probably ask later on in life, yes, you CAN like and dislike anyone from any group of people because of what they do, say, talk about and what not. You're not going to like every person you ever meet, and you're not going to hate ever person you meet either. It's called being human. Enjoy it!

Do you personally know any effeminate gay men? If you do them maybe you just dislike that person. If not.. how can you say you dislike them without getting to know them?
That's like never having tried chocolate and just by looking at its disgusting brown colour saying.. yuck.. I hate chocolate. Once you try it you will love it.
Unless they affect you personally then disliking anyone is a waste of your energy.

Well why don't you like them? To not like someone's style is just taste, okay. But to be say discriminating remarks about effeminate gay guys would be considered homophobic.
>>And you say "dislike" and I don't know how you mean it, like if you dislike them in a mean way, then yes it would be homophobic. But to dislike someone's clothing, style, whatever... that's just your opinion.

many will tell you it's all right. some people thinks it's ok to dislike anyone who "perpetuates a stereotype".
to me it's still bigotry.
to me, you are saying that a certain segment shouldn't act outside the norm. blah blah blah.
but at least you have lots of people(other gay men in fact) who agree with you

No. It could be a lot of things. It could be that you simply prefer masculine behavior in men and feminine behavior in women.

Nah. And if it is then I'm probably homophobic too, which is odd because I AM gay. Seriously though, whether or not they're gay or straight they're annoying!
