It all depends on their partners' likes and dislikes. Some people just go crazy for the "happy trail" if you will. Some hate it. Others are neutral as body hair happens to both men and women(although it's mostly guys who get the majority of it). As to the why guys and gals have them, it's mostly genetics.

I think it is really hot on guys... I just don't like a bunch of hair everywhere else, especially on their backs and shoulders if it is curly and long. I like relatively hairless upper bodies.
