How do you even know you're Beta strep positive if you're not pregnant? That's something they usually check during pregnancy. Yes, you can pass it on to your boyfriend. No, the bump he's feeling on the right side of your vagina has nothing to do with it; Beta strep is a bacterial infection. It sounds like you're in need of a visit to the doctor. Oh, and tell the doctor your boyfriend might need to be treated too!

if you are infected with beta strep, you SHOULD NOT BE HAVING SEX. you can definitely pass it on to your boyfriend, and now you probably have.
