Probably not. If there is no afterlife and death is non-existence, then it will feel like it did before you were born. Which means, you won't feel anything. More than that, you won't even exist to not feel anything.
If there is an afterlife, then it will probably be similar in some ways to being alive but you won't be in your body. Who knows what an afterlife could possibly be like because no one has ever come back to tell us living folks about it.
As for people who have had near-death experiences, there is a lot of evidence that the sensations they experience are not what it is like to be dead. Rather, it is a dream-like state that their mind goes into to avoid panic and pain.

I died on the table when I had my little girl.
I remember knowing I was dying, heard the doctor ask if the placenta released, then watched as he pulled and then heard lots of water running and dripping on the floor. (The water was actually blood, my blood. ) The young doctor,( an intern) then told the nurse to check my pulse, then blood pressure. She said my blood pressure was 50 over 30, then tried again and said I didn't have blood pressure. I remember falling back to the mattress, looking up and trying to pull in a breath. To my surprise, my chest refused to rise. Instead, every breath of air within released from my lips and the doctor screamed, "NO."
The next thing I knew, I was floating about in the room. I went over to the baby and hushed her as she was crying profusely. Then I went up, up, up through the ceiling and several floors to the sky, a bright light. Before I could reach the warmth of the light, a voice told me it wasn't my time. I still had to take care of the children. The next thing I knew I was in pain and I took this deep breath and I was back. I was out for three minutes. Longest three minutes though.
So, no. Death doesn't feel the same as sleeping, but with no feeling. I felt the warmth of the light I was approaching, felt love for the child I had given birth to and worry as I was reminded that I had other children to take care of. Death is just another stage of life...

We could go on and on, for the ahadeeth are vast in numbers, about the Prophet's descriptions of Paradise. But a place that has houses built with gold and silver bricks: where its dirt is made of rubies and sapphires and its inhabitants wear only the finest silk garments, sounds like a pretty exclusive neighborhood to me. Who are these people who will be allowed to live in this enchanting place? The Jews say the Jews. The Christians say the Christians. But Allah says, "And they say: 'None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian.' Those are their (vain) desires. Say, 'Produce your proof if you are truthful.' [2:111] He also says, "(Namely) those whose lives the angels take in a state of purity, saying (to them), 'Peace be on you, enter you the Garden, because of (the good) which you did (in the world)." [16:32]
Always in the Qur'an when Allah mentions those who will attain Paradise, He mentions the believers, not the Muslims. He, subhanahu wa ta'ala, says, "Indeed the Muttaqoon will be amongst the Gardens and water-springs." [15:45] He also says, "Verily, the Muttaqoon will be in a place of security, among Gardens and Springs, dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other. This is how it shall be, and We shall marry them to Houris with wide, lovely eyes. They will request therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security." [44:51-55]
So who are the believers and how do we become one of them? Allah says, "They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and they strive with one another in hastening to good deeds, and those are among the good." [3:114]
He, subhanahu wa ta'ala, also says of the believers, "But the Apostle and those who believe with him strive hard with their property and their persons; and these it is who shall have the good things and these it is who shall be successful." [9:88]

you would have to be alive to comprehend a dream aka rapid eye movement, occurs in the brain. Brain needs O2 to function, so basically being dead is probably more like the absolute of nothing....zero....blank...
But being in a concussion is more like sleeping...but death, its just nothing.
