I didn't think questions about a child's health was offensive.

Do people just want a P&S full of " Do you think I am pretty from my avatar" sort of questions??

Love your avatar. Am I violated yet? Sounds vaguely obscene. Getting violated, I mean. You have made a bid for getting on the same page without describing the contents of the page so I am at a loss to see what dotted line I'm signing on. I'd kinda like to read the fine print if you don't mind.

It depends on how you worded it. Sometimes the way a question is worded can be considered "chat" or a "rant," which is really a big gray area probably has no consistent interpretation by staff members at Y!A, but if you don't think you violated the community guidelines, then it's your responsibility to appeal the violation, lest you'd prefer to have the reporter trolls run rampant. A question doesn't have to be offensive to be a violation; however, I think questions like "Am I pretty?" are not within the community guidelines.

I find it pretty disgusting that they deleted Stevie Ray Vaughn's question. It was a sincere question and his little Ruby is need of our prayers.I have children myself and my heartaches for what he and his family are going through. The trolls would be happy with those useless mundane questions and stale avatars. I have to believe there is a special place in hell for those pathetic losers. They have no heart.

I have not seen a true violation in at least 6 months. Of course, my idea of what a violation is and Yahoo's! idea of what a violation is...and the reporters idea of what violations are...are all horses of different colors. Pity...

I think I figured it out...you have to report 1 for every 5 you ask or answer. And since most of us don't report we get violated more than others.

Some people are just babies, they see a question they don't like, or decide they don't like you, and they report you....Yahoo doesn't even read the complaint before they violate you, I think that sucks.
