When I was learning to draw, I really loved to draw sports logos! I still enjoy it actually, maybe you could draw a hat, or a shirt with a logo on it. It would be good to add some perspective drawing!

This is a good assignment for you to learn to get inspiration. The best place to get it is from your every day surroundings. Is there a streetlight by your house you can draw out? Maybe you can find one leaf that fell from a tree and find the same kind of leaf that managed to hang on to the tree. Maybe you can find a crack in a sidewalk with a blade of grass that made it through. Maybe you can draw the front corner of a car.

Don't be intimidated by the size or detail of something you are drawing. take it one detail at a time!

Take a look at some newspaper comics. Comic artists are good at drawing things very simply, but making them detailed enough to tell what they are. I would recommend one of my favorites: Calvin and Hobbes. Bill Watterson is a GENIUS and an amazing artist. Calvin and Hobbes isn't in most newspapers, but there are books at Barnes & Noble or any other bookstore like that!

You're gonna do good! Don't sweat it!

If you don't like any of those, just look around some more. It is too easy. Grams

Just 14? In art school we had to do 100. Next day 100 in 100 different mediums. (blood, tea, coke, ****, mud, milk.)

Go sit in front of the tv and sketch what you see. Zap and do it again.
