* No it won't hurt the garment, fabric softener is a cationic (+ively charged) solution.
* If you've added it in the wash zone with laundry detergent. It will neutralize -ively charged anionic surfactants and reduce wash performance.
* Just rinse load once, then wash as normal.

I doubt it, just rewash them...With the detergent in the spot where the detergent goes...LOL And the softener in the softener spot...HAHAHA, sorry =)
