I've never known a guy who'd keep that from his wife. Guess I never really thought about it. What did you marry this woman for if you intended to keep secrets?

Been married over 40 years and we both work. All the money goes into a joint account and we both take what we need. If there is no money in there, we are both broke. No secrets are necessary and it just works fine. If there is going to be a large purchase such as anything over $500, then it is discussed between us before it happens. We both have a set amount go into individual savings accounts on a regular basis which we don't account for to anyone and we put a set amount into investments on a regular basis which we both monitor and if changes are to be made, it is also a joint venture...Strangely enough, this works like a charm.

I set up all the accts...I know how much my husband makes. ( I maintain the bank accts, he pays the bills, when he's home. ) EVERY grown up in the house needs to know how much and where it goes...in case something goes wrong and you need money or a way into the accts. If both names are NOT on the accts. if something happens the accts are frozen till proof of death is brought to the bank. (death certificates can take up to 3 wks or more) so it's vital that women and men share info...If they're going to live together...

My husband forks and I pick up his paycheck together, cash it together, and pay bills together. We hide nothing from eachother. That is marriage. Any wife that doesn't see your paystub, and just takes your word for it is a dumba**.
And no, I don't go spending all his money. When we have the extra money, he treats me to something nice..and I couldn't be happier.

Husband number one gave me his paycheck.
Husband number two kept it secret but I went through his pockets and found out. Instead of asking a slow cooker for Christmas that year I asked for diamond earrings and I got them.

I used to but not anymore... she has her own income and I have mine. We are not hiding anything from each other but neither one is so concerned that we have to know. Yes I have a stash, she knows it exists but not the amount.

I'm not married, nor a man, but I would tell them if they asked. Unless of course if she was a gold-digger

I know exactly how much my husband makes, it gets directly deposited into our bank account every 2 weeks.
Any woman who would be with a man who wouldn't tell her is dumb.

You are married to her everything that is your is hers and everything that is hers is yours that is just how it is. I know every cent that my husband gets and where it goes that is how it should be no matter what.
