well, i used to be at the top of the class. straight A's and all. so, i was offered to take this insane course, and i did. right now, i am taking 3 ap courses, in pre-calc, and a sophmore. and i am getting more bs then A's on one marking period. it is driving me loco. all of my friends say that i am intelligent, and i tend to beileve them. But i am not sure if colleges will like me or not. another thing is that i have no idea what to do with my life. we are in school, supposively, to get ready for your job. but i have almost no idea what to be. all i know is that it will have to do with math. but, i need to get into a good college. am i just flipping out over nothing or should i be deeply concerned, as in does the college you go to really make a huge difference in your carrer?

Oh pish posh. It's not that serious. I was never at the top of the class, but I was a straight A-er, honor roll, beta club, distinguished student until 11th grade then I hit (what I considered to be) rock bottom. I was making B's. Had an AP English class in 11th grade that kicked my butt. Had another AP English Class in 12th grade that wasn't AS bad as AP 11, but bad enough. Had a calc class in 12th that kicked my butt. I quit 2nd semester and went to a computer apps class because I was so distraught about how bad I was with it.
However, the more bad grades I made, the more I realized all this stuff is not that serious. You do it to please and you never get any enjoyment out of anything that you're doing unless someone else is fawning over how intelligent you are. I began to accept the experience of the class rather than go to get an A. I found out that's a better way to go through school. Unfortunately, I learned it too late and wasted years upon years making A's to please others.
I just graduated number 6 in my class. Not bad.
Colleges are looking for you challenging yourself. Even if you get a C in an AP class, the fact is you challenged yourself. You'll be all right.
As far as what you're going to do after high school, what to major in in college, I was going to do so many things in highschool and even at graduation had no idea. Now, I'm taking a gap year and only now do I know what I'm going to do. Follow your heart and don't let the carrot of success dangle before you, teasing you. It will only cause you to keep reaching for something that OTHER people are going to be proud of, which, in turn, will make you think you're proud of it. No, step back and find out what it is that you want to do. Even it's being a mailman, if that's what you want to do, forget a Ph.D. Go for the mailboxes!

Colleges would rather see you take the hardest courses you can, even if your (unweighted) GPA suffers. Work hard in the classes and prep for the AP tests. If you keep up the AP courseload and get 4s and 5s on the tests, you would be a National AP Scholar.
You need to watch your grammar. It's "supposedly" not "supposively." And it's "career," not "carrer."
Re: where you go to school. I'm of the mind that you should go to the best academic school you can get in to. You'll get the best education, make good contacts, etc.
But... in the end I think college is a lot about what YOU make of it. You could go to a lesser-"name" school, throw yourself into it, make the most of it and have a very successful career and life. One of my sons likes to point out that most of the Fortune 500 CEOs didn't go to an Ivy League school.
Sounds like you're on a great track. Don't be deeply concerned.

Don't get ahead of yourself. Just concentrate on getting a good grade in the cycle you're in at the time. That's manageable. You got A's so you are a good student. If your grades are drooping, again just concentrate and work hard test-to-test. You'll get A's. About what to do with your life, again your job Right now is to get into a college program. When you are in that new environment, you will eventually become focused on a life plan. Don't panic. it's very common for college students to be in an unsure career state until their junior year. At that time, you'll have a better handle on what you'd like to do. Then just do it. Don't be too indecisive though because college courses are expensive and you should not waste money on courses that are out in left field.

It very much depends on what you want to do. If you wanted to be an elementary school teacher or a nurse, you could as easily get a decent job by graduating from your local state university as from an elite school. However, if you want to go to graduate school, or to be a doctor or a lawyer, it can make a huge difference.
The one thing you do need to know, though, is that good schools care both about your grades AND about the rigor of your academic program. If you were taking easy classes, even getting straight As would not get you into those schools.

Ap courses are used/considered as college credit; therefore, whcih ever college you apply for you receive credits for the ap classes. Certain colleges take off time from the needed years of education. Worring about you future can wait. Just make sure you have a job you like, some kind of job representation, and future goals

ap courses count for ****. You will get credit for them but will not get a grade so if you need the course later on you will be forced to retake to earn a grade. Lame. And yea college will accept and it doesn't make as big of a difference as people think. So relax and save the worrying for more important things, you will get into college.

And finding a dating worth skill which you notice it going someplace considering the fact which you're falling in love with that individual. i do no longer think of you will possibly commence making plans forward in case you probably did no longer love her. And it takes a individual approximately 3 months each so often to fall in love i assume I recommend in case you think of approximately it. considering the fact which you have been spending plenty time mutually you're in keeping with one yet another and you 2 are doing countless issues mutually so as meaning which you're so soft with one yet another that it merely seems real to be mutually. i think of you're in love together with her and valentine's must be the suitable day which you would be able to assert all of it. or perhaps earlier. while ever you sense is the excellent time may well be the excellent time.
