I dont understand this..scouts recruit players international and us college players that dont even compare to and1 players.
why do they never recruit and1 players? the only one the recruited so far is Rafer..see he wasnt that bad in the nba.
they should recruit and1 players..come on..just look at The Professor, he would be the best PG.
what do you think?

two totally different universes you're talking about. and rafer alston (a.k.a. skip to my lou), is only okay. if the nba wasn't so strict on palming and traveling, touch fouls and so on, but a lot of the and1 players themselves have tried to get a spot in the Bigs, but they don't play with a lot of the set plays on offense and defense. not all, but a good potion of them lack the fundamentals that true nba players have. and the professor may have a dope pass here and there, but he would get eaten alive in the pro's.

I think that with the influx of European players and our high-powered basketball high schools, NBA scouts don't feel that they need to look at things like And1 for players. Also, I'm sure that a top And1 player (on the bus) could leverage that into at least a try-out for an NBA team.
I think it would be cool to see And1 ball skills in the NBA, but I don't think thats going to happen. I guess I'll just keep playing NBA Street Volume 3.

An and1 player would have to change their whole style of playing b.ball.
Do you see rafer doing any of the things he did when he was on and1?
I do think most and1 players are better than alot of the nba players right now

And1 players are =not= fundamentally sound players. For example - they carry-the-ball-over every time down the court, none of them play a lick of defense, and third most of them have no idea of team basketball play. One of the better And1 players the "grim reaper" sucked as a Laker and he's currently serving a suspension in Miami ---- and still sucks.

and1 is awsome, but i they pulled those moves in NBA they would get called for travels and carries. like skip 2 my lou is a streetball legend but is average in the NBA and cant do his streetball moves
