Mickey Mantle
Lou Gehrig
Babe Ruth
Joe DiMaggio
Yogi Berra
Whitey Ford
Ron Guidry
Derek Jeter
Don Mattingly
Bernie Williams
Of those names that you would think should appear, just remember their short term association with the Yankees. My list consists of live long Yankees (with the exception of Babe Ruth), whose longevity products multiple championships, (with the exception of Don Mattingly).

Hmmmm....that is a tough one because there are players I didnt really like but they were great so I guess I must include some of them on my list
The order is not how I rate them from 1 to 10, it is just how I thought of them..
1. Carl Yastrzemski
2. Pedro Martinez
3. Ted Williams
4. George Ruth
5. Roger Clemens
6. Wade Boggs
7. David Ortiz
8. Curt Schilling
9. Manny Ramirez
10. Johnny Pesky ( I had to add him, he means so much to the team).

In my opinion for the Braves and I'm only going by the guys that I've seen play. I realize Hank Aaron and others should be here but I didn't get a chance to see them:
Chipper Jones
Bob Horner
John Smoltz
Tom Glavine
Greg Maddux
Dale Murphy
Phil Niekro
Gene Garber
Gary Matthews
Mark Tiexiera
Andruw Jones

Babe Ruth
Lou Gehrig
Joe Dimaggio
Mickey Mantle
Whitey Ford
Yogi Berra
Thurman Munson
Don Mattingly
Derek Jeter
Alex Rodriguez (When he's done will have his WS ring and will have broken just about every Yankee hitting record there is with the exception of most hits, Jeter should take that one as he is has about 200 more than A-Rod does and they are the same age).
What's scary about that is I had to leave out Pettitte, Mariano, Reggie, Guidry, Lazzeri, Rizzuto, Maris, Howard...just to name a few! That was tough!
