A Seperate Peace (it goes well with Catcher)
Salinger has written some short stories. I think you might like
A Perfect Day for Bananafish or Franny and Zooey
A Clockwork Orange (rebellious teens + the fact that Kubrick made a movie out of it with McDowell (I doubt you know them, but if you did, you'd be impressed)(not to mention that it's one of Kubrick's top 5 films) = awsome book)
Equus - a kid that doesn't know where he fits in life (and begins to make his doctor wonder too). This one's mature though.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
(I don't know if you'd like it, but I recomend it to everyone.)
(Also, please don't judge the book and radio plays by the movie. The book is much better than the movie.)

Of all the fine books out there, for light yet engrossing reading, you might try The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood by Howard Pyle. Written in about 1880 when Mr. Pyle was only 30, it's a fine read for all ages. A true timeless Classic. ( don't leave Earth without reading it!)

well, you might want to check out Tuesday's With Morrie and For One More Day, both by Mitch Albom (sp?), I thought they were really really good.
