How long it will last all depends upon the studios. As for which shows are affected, pretty much all scripted shows are affected to some degree. Production on many shows has shut down completely because the cast and directors have joined the writers on the picket lines.

There is a long list of shows that affected by the writers striker. reality shows are ok though since they usually don't use a script.
Just remember we need to support the writers, they deserve to get paid and not be overlooked for all the work they have done.
