Is the Gibson SG controller for Guitar Hero 2 on the PS2 compatible with Guitar Hero III on the PS3?

You have to get an adaptor. They are $14.99 at eb games or wherever you usually go.

No...but the Guitar for Guitar Hero III can be used on any of the other games as long as you are using the same console...ie. PS2 & PS3

Sadly, it ISN'T - though the GAME is compatible with the PS3 Guitar...
This is why Guitar Hero III is sold out pretty much EVERYWHERE - because they haven't released the standalone guitar for PS3 yet >:(

Yes if you have the connector to connect ps2 controllers into the usb port of the ps3

no they do not work ps3 uses wireless and usb the ps2 does not.

i dont think so,cuz the ps2 thing wont fit in the ps3 hole!im sry if im wrong plz forgive me!
