Dress how you want to dress, and don't pay any attention to labels. I hate the label but I've been "goth" for years, and the way you dress isnt at all a measure of that. I can walk into a meeting room at work dressed in khaki pants and a white button up shirt, and I still scare the hell out of everyone lol.

you have to learn how to have friends that accept you for who you are and like you that way im not a prep but i hate them too but i dont dress in dark clothes because of it OH AND BTW GOTH PPL FRIGGIN SCARE THE **** OUT OF ME!!

This is hard to learn, but once you learn it you are happier.
Don't worry about what you are just be yourself. If you are all in black one day and in something different the next day, (and the variety makes you happy,) then go for it. Your true friends will like you for you. Be strong, be yourself. Good luck.
