Believe it or not, These attributes are obtainable and available even in light of your circumstances or sufferings. It is the knowledge of knowing that even though you are human and flawed, you can experience a peace and a joy deep within. In other words, you can claim to be happy because you have a job, money, toys, or influence. But, take all that garbage away and you realize that your happiness was built on and based on material happiness.

By the way Greenwee, I don't do, nor have I ever done drugs. It should be noted that I do have a job, money, and influence, but my peace and joy is not rooted on these because I no longer dance in thte futility of my mind believing in nothing!

If anything, your answer exemplifies the futlity of your thought process. Take a look in the mirror and take notice as to whether or not you are happy with what you see looking back at you man!

Because I am a complex composite of these three things:

1. Who I think I am.

2. Who others think I am.

3. Who I am really.

Until I can honestly unite these pieces into one normally adjusted, positive contributing individual, I can never truly be happy! In other words if we all have these issues how can we have true joy?

Yes, I am! But it wasn't always that way for me. A few years ago, I read a line that made me stop and think:

Would you rather be RIGHT, or would you rather be HAPPY?

I chose to be happy, and it was like a big burden had been lifted from me. Now, I still state my opinion when asked or when it is part of a discussion. But I no longer feel that everyone else MUST always agree with me.

No....because I am HUMAN.
I do not believe life like that is possible in an imperfect world.

That said, I feel I am far happier than most of the human race--I have more than enough to eat, money left to spend on fun things after the bills are paid, a home of my own, and many people I love who love me also. That's a LOT more than many people have!

I try ... but I am a very sensitive person. I try to give things to God like everyone should ... but sometimes plain ol' life just overwhelms me and I get so wrapped up in myself and my problems that I forget He is always there to help me, no matter what!

Your question smacks of the 'hippie' era. What kind of controlled substance are you on? That stuff doesn't exist in the real world - we all have our ups and downs, moments of joy and sorrow, etc. Quit sniffing whatever it is that you are using and clean yourself up ... maybe even (heaven forbid)- get a job

Well, not every moment of the day and night.

Sometimes I take time out to be grouchy. And sarcastic.
