Thank you sir. I read your question, and kept expecting some lousy end, like "So now I'm having an affair with the 16 year old neighbor, and she's pregnant." You have a real problem, and it doesn't involve "Jerry Springer" type silliness. So, here goes. Your marriage MUST end. It's not worth worrying about. But, that doesn't necessarily mean divorce. It means that you and you wife become more than roommates. I'm not big on marriage counseling, but you guys may benefit. Unless you two change your relationship, your marriage WILL end. One of you is going to find something or somebody to be passionate about, and you'll end up divorced. So the bottom line is- fix the marriage, or end it. I get the impression that there isn't a "bad guy" here, so I wish you two luck.

He can tell her, but if I were him, I wouldn't. Because a sentence like that communicates desires. Which means, when given the chance, he could cheat. Cheating is never good. Either he should get a divorce, or try to work on his marriage with his wife. So then he can tell his wife...if I wasn't married to u, I"d marry u again. But saying this to another woman puts the seed of infidelity in ur mind because it's a wake up call to the man since he's realizing he's living a marriage simply out of committment, or whatever, but no love or attraction...and that's dangerous; because when other attractions come, even if u love ur spouse, u've gotta fight 'em, so it's even harder when they come around...and ur mind's like..I wish SHE was mine, INSTEAD of the one I have.

No, a man who loves his wife could not do that. That's just horrible. But a guy who is that big of a creep isn't likely to be honest with himself no matter what you do. Wow, that's really bad.

Yes. I think he probably is being honest with himself. He is probably staying married to his wife due to some obligation, children etc. Maybe his parents were divorced and he grew up without his father around. Maybe he feels that he doesn't want his kids to feel the way that he felt.

People can love other people for many reasons....A married man can say I "love" my wife but I am no longer attracted to her. I love her because she is a good mother, brings in good money, keeps the house clean, she is a good cook, but is that enough to stay with this cold hearted man...I do not think so.

He is either leading you on and trying to get in your pants, and in doing so letting you know his true intentions up front. (HE WILL NEVER LEAVE HER!!)
Or...
He is living in a fantasy world.
What makes you think you have the right to step in and confront this guy? He is a married man. Back off and step out of the picture. There are plenty of single men out there for you to waste your time with.

This happens! Sounds like a timing issue; he would be with you but has made previous commitments and if the time ever presented itself again, when he could, he would!! Or if he could go back, he would have chosen differently type thing. Good Luck!!

Why on earth do you think it's YOUR job to break a marriage apart? Are you sick or something? Find your own man. Just because you want something doesn't mean you get to steal it from someone else.
