What the hell, there is no age for smoking pot, it's illegal no matter what, wow. and my dad is a druken idiot, only thing he is going to say is, give me a hit, and why the hell is calling the cops not and option.?

Now that's an interesting question! So your mom's smoking pot. She's certainly not setting much of an example for you by doing that, but she is of age and she's your mother, so that puts you in a very awkward position. You might speak to her about it, and ask what her reaction would be if she discovered that you were doing that. Calling the police is not an option, but if you just can't get through to her, or hesitate to confront her about it, maybe you can tell your dad or one of her friends, and let them speak to her. I don't approve of any kind of drugs, even pot, and especially not in the house with a teenager or even younger child. Oh, and by the way, I am not a teenager, I'm a grandmother, so I can give you a different perspective than some of your peers, and the benefit of my years of experience in dealing with people.

You need to research outside of government propaganda for a more balanced view of marijuana. Yes, it is illegal, but you must realize that morality is not the same as legality. Alcohol is much more dangerous, realistically. Alcohol is actually physically addictive, whereas marijuana is not. I think reviewing your motivations, facts, and commitment to family. Abuse is a reason to go to the cops. How is what your mother is doing harming you? For your consideration only. I'm not you, I'm not an expert. I'm just a thinker who believes your solution lies in thinking rather than fear - response.

Wow, I would be shocked. I think I would confront her about it as long as it was not in a hidden spot that would make her think I was snooping.
It sort of sounds like you have been given a weak family, I'm sorry to hear about your drunken dad and moms substance use. But I congratulate you for being better than them when you were raised in that type of environment. I hope you continue to stay true to your beliefs and rise above your environment.

I would probably talk to her and you never know....she could be hiding it for a friend. If it was hers, i would say that I'm not in charge of her, but i would not talk to her until she stopped.
