I'm almost certain my Step dad hates me. He Never Cares. about anything! expect if i want to go to the movies or to a friends house or anywhere! he's all over it telling me no!
I'm 16 and I'm pregnant. It's hard right now...with my boyfriend leaving me and all. but how much worse can i get by him letting me over a friends house just so i can get some comfort?
he has jumped past grounding me and almost confined me to the house!
My mom is always away at work(shes the one that makes the money) while i sit around the house and do nothing.
why is my dad acting like this! i want some answers!

i was on birth control!
It was also my first time!
my dad said the other day when i asked him why he was doing this he yelled " im doing this for your own good!"
whats that supposed to mean?

While I feel for you being so restricted, I can understand your step-father's decisions. By getting pregnant at 16 you have already shown him that you can't be trusted to use the best judgement.
I am not saying that this makes you a bad person, but that you have proven to your parents that they could not protect you from a situation most parents don't want to see their 16 year old daughter in.
Are you still at school? That will get you out of the house and give you access to some extra curricular activities in a supervised setting.
If not, see if your church has activities through the week, such as crafts or music (choir or something), or even volunteering in their charity works ( soup kitchens, sorting out Christmas Hamper donations etc... )
Once you have shown your parents that you are trust-worthy at these kinds of activities, they may start to allow you more social freedoms.

You're 16 and pregnant. Your step dad believes that you cannot be trusted (and to be honest the fact that you are pregnant does prove this somewhat) You have put him in a very uncomfortable situation as many people will think that he has failed as a parent because you are pregnant and now he is over-compensating for his failure to teach you the right thing, you have made his life more difficult and now he has to act as a grandfather at a much earlier age than he expected! Your being pregnant at a young age has caused big changes in his life that he did not expect or want.

Hes probably ashamed that he let you get pregnant so hes being overprotectedso you want get pregnant or something like that again or Maybe he just wants the baby to be safe, Watever it is im sure hes looking out for u

You dont seem responsible and parents tend to respond to that by acting tuff and stubborn cause thats how their parents treated them when they were irresponsible so fix up your act be responsible think about ur future baby once he sees that hel get off ur back.
