I was curious so I went to looked it up. Since 2001 the white sox have beaten The Tigers 81 out of 132 times.
Even in 2006 when The Tigers won the AL, they beat us 7 of 19 games. Then last year when they totally sucked they still beat us 11 of 19 games.

Look at all the White Sox fans defending their team. I tell ya, you say one bad thing about the White Sox and there are at least 50 Sox fans lined up to put you in your place. You better be careful Georgie, next time you insult the White Sox on here their fans might band together and get you permanently kicked off of Yahoo. They can do it too. They are many in number and are all powerful.
To WhiteSox - I wasn't trying to anger Sox fans (well, maybe I was just a little bit). I was trying to point out that the first 9 or 10 posts after the question agreed with Georgie. Look at any of the questions that say something like "How many time will the Yankees beat the Red Sox this year?" The first five posts will almost always be something like "The Yankees suck, go Red Sox!" I find it interesting that not a single White Sox fan came on to defend their team until several posts in.

The White Sox always seem to perform well against the Tigers but I have a feeling that is about to come to an end. The Tigers just look too good now to come up short against the White Sox in 2008.

the way issues stand good now i'm no longer very beneficial in my White Sox. i might bypass with the Sox triumphing 7 or 8 of 18. with any luck there are some extra transformations coming which will boost my outlook and the Sox possibilities.

The sox beat up on the Tigers because the Detroit has not had a team since 1984, now they have a serious team so the tide will turn.

You know the deal. But I think this will be a 10-9 series, don't know who though. But I'll say the Sox b/c I love 'em.
To CubsWin- You are just trying to anger the Sox fans, not Georgie Porgie. 100 years and counting!

HEY! dont be so cocky. I AM A SOX FAN. and coming into the 2006 season we thought we'd kill everyteam and repeat. but that didn't happen.
we seem to put a good fight against the tigers. i have 2 admit that the tigers will be tough to beat. but the tigers might hav ea chemistry problem, like the yankees. stacking up players doesnt mean you'll be amazing.
P.S. GO WHITE SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope so. Even if they don't, I doubt the whitee sox will win the division. The Cabrera's were nice pick ups for both teams, while instead of trading prospects the white sox traded one of their best pitchers.

Well dumb *** they now have an almost ace (with the kind of run support they'll have i could pitch 4 them) and a good mix of veterans and youngsters, and power they will mop the floor with the white soxs.
