i used tide with downy, and downy dryer sheets... and for some reason my clothes NEVER come out smelling like downy. i don't leave my laundry sitting wet for very long at all... and i don't think i over stuff the dryer. i was wondering if there was some magic trick or something to get the dryer sheets to work. if anyone can answer this for me id appreciate it!! thanks =0)

You may need to use more dryer sheets and less stuff the dryer. Too much heat kills the scent. Also tuck some sheets in your drawers to keep the smell around. You could also hand one from each hanger, but let's not get carried away.

I'm that way too, gotta have that BOUNCE smell. Heres what I do: 3 sheets per load (and I always over stuff- what... am I made of time?) Then, I got those delicate bags for washing bras which i stuff with used sheets. It has to be the used sheets because the non-used are just hard soap; after they are heated is when the release their scents. I have them in nearly every drawer, and I change them out about once a month. People always say how good I smell AND I am a smoker!

Put dryer sheets in your dresser and closet. Some people also put them in with clothes that are being put away for the season so they don't smell musty when they come back out.
