You are concerned about a job that is lucrative for a single parent--be a teacher. Is it easy? no Do you need to take classes that don't relate to your major? yes. Suck it up and go to school for four years. A teacher can make 30k to 70k and works190-200 days a year depending on what state you live in and the benefits are good. You need to get your masters degree to make top dollars,but it is worth it. In most states you can't be a school counselor without an education degree. Benefits are good and you are home when your children are not in school. In most states the retirement program is great.

Thank goodness. Okay. I've just come back from my realtor's office to have my daughter meet Santa. I vomited on him which is pretty embarrassing. I hadn't been drinking. The local tribune paper was there and I'm afraid they'll put their spin on it, unless you can spin it first.
