You file. I got fired from a job a couple months ago. I filed for unemployment and of course the company disputed it.
We had a phone hearing with a judge, me and the company lawyer and I won. The judge didnt agree with their reason for firing me.
So you can give it a try if you believe that they did not have a good reason for firing you.
In the meantime look for another job, unemployment doesnt pay all that much.

File your claim, and the sooner the better.
Unless you intentionally screwed up or did something illegal, you may be covered. Even if they reject your claim, you can still appeal. You won't see a dime if you don't file a claim.
