guppy's don't lay eggs, they are live breeders. they give lie birth like us humans do. The egg hatches in her then they are born. she should have a dark gravid spot on her. and the fish sould be hanging around at the top of the tank when she is going to give birth. Thats what they kind of naturally do. make sure she is in a breeding net or there is lots of plats in there so the babies wont get eaten. and if you dont use a breeding net and you dot get another tank then i wouldnt leave the filter on because it might suck up the babies.

Guppies give live birth and do not lay eggs. It will get a big belly and toward the back of the fish, the gravid spot will turn black or dark brown. If the butt of the fish is pink, then it is just overfed. The fish will also become boxy looking from the front. The way I tell if the guppy is about to give birth is, I watch for the fish to slow down and breathe heavily. Sometimes I can also tell by noting that the fish is looking for a place to hide her fry(babies).
Good luck....Gup.

Guppy's are livebearers. They give birth to live young. If there are other fish in your tank then you need to buy a breeding net. It is a mesh box that you place in your aquarium for your mother guppy to give birth in. This way the other fish won't eat the small fry.

Guppies are livebearers so you don't have to concern yourself with eggs.

they do have stay youthful, yet you are able to tell in the event that they are pregnant reason there bellies do swell (the girls have shorter tails and are not as rather in shade). no longer each and all of the greater youthful will proceed to exist the two, many get eaten!
