I know why the o2sensor s1 bank one, does not get fixed when you replace the bank #2 sensor on the drivers side. #1 bank is on the passengers side where #1 spark plug is located. Also some times the connector gets damaged by moisture. After the engine gets cleaned and detailed? There is a service bulliten NTB-04 002b. And you are really not going to like it. Here is why you take your car in for dealer service. Nissan dealer would have looked up the multible o2 sensor failure and found out the repair involves replacing the engine control harness and four o2 sensors and four little plastic clips. For good customers Nissan May good will the repairs if the Xterria has low miles. Under 80,000 let's say.. It doesnot hurt to ask. The repair involves removing the glove box and A/C cold case and loosening the heater box for enough room to pass the harness thru. The total job takes all day after the parts get there. I hope you can find Nissan in a good mood.
