What you can do is ask them for it for Christmas, then talk about how you can surf the internet without a computer, Also if they want they can put the Parental controls if they think the games are violent. (the best games for the Wii are rated E to T) That it's a console that you have to play standing up and move with the game, so you get more exercise instead of just sitting. And that you will be very grateful if they get you one. Also if you go to a store that has the demonstration video, show it to them. If they say OK, then you're set. hopefully your parents can get one during the holidays, I give you the best of luck. Hope I Helped, Happy Holidays.

ok so it took me a while for me to convice my parents for 1. i made a deal that i would try to get on the honor roll and get at least a 3.4 gpa. also the wii, paticularly wii sports is some of the best exercise that you can get. plus there are some extremely good family oriented games such as wii sports wii fit. tobe released yet and many others. a favorite in my family is cooking mama cookoff. plus the wii is almost half the cost of a ps3 and 100 cheaper than a xbox 360. plus all the games are cheaper as well.
p.s make sure to mention the cost of the wii compared to the other systems. if they still say no then go in for a psp or ds both of those systems have call of duty 4. psp can play movies

I think you should always keep up a good attitude without demanding money for it. Imagine you mother told you she'd only be nice to you if you give her money for it? That wouln't feel very nice, would it? Treat your parents the way you want to be treated by them and they will reward you for it one way or another. Why don't you suggest doing more chores in the house that you normally have to? You could also do a paper round and save up the money. Try it, it feels great buying something that you worked for yourself!

Tell them it's the cheapest game system out there for $249.99, it's fun for the whole family, affordable, easy to use, and it's totally worth the money. Also tell them if they want to they can play to, because they're are really good games for the Wii for all people, personalities, ages and sizes.
Good Luck!

I've got a better question: we want a wii--where can we find one? Even if your parents wanted to buy you a wii, they might not be able to buy you one because all the stores are sold out.

If your not in a hurry to get one right now, since the wii is hard to get right now, you can suggest to your parents if they can consider getting you one if you get good grades on your next report card. Good luck getting one. :)
