Takes place in 50's or 60' I guess, I saw parts of this movie maybe 10 years ago.
It's about a girl who gets pregnant, living at home, and she hides this from her parents. I remember that she had nightmares about the birth or that she was having her baby in her sleep (?), so she woke her mom with her screaming who then found out...
I remember something about she visiting a guy in prison, who could have been the father...
The family was religious, i think she was very religious too. She prayed alot.
I might have mixed a few movies, but this is what i remember. I've searched for it using IMDB keywords but found nothing helpful

No it's not "american girl", i watched the trailer. the movie i saw was much darker. Noone knew about the pregnancy exept her, and she hid it from her parents. The family was very religious.. :/ I remember the nightmare seen and i'm sure it's in the movie.

I'm thinking you are talking about Confessions of an American Girl starring Jenna Malone.. (I think it took place in the late 70's maybe early 80's)..

She does visit a prison, but it is to visit her father.
The only thing is.. I don't recall her being religious in that one.. Although the rest sounds right.. Jenna Malone also played a pregnant girl in Saved in which she was very religious and prayed alot.. (she didn't have the dreams or visit a prison in that one though)
