Ok wait, this is a partial birth abortion? Is it legal in your state, I was under the impression that partial-birth was illegal in all states.
Condom broke is not a moral excuse. When you get down to it in religion there is no such thing as a moral excuse, only exceptions in cases of rape or danger to mother's life. Even being pro-choice (which I am too) to be getting one at 20 weeks under the excuse that the condom broke doesn't seem to gain much desire to support them, I admit. But I guess that is essence of choice, as long as it is legal, it is their choice. But it is your choice how you feel about it and if you can't get past her acting this way, then you need to take your own feelings into consideration first.

Well 20 weeks is not really late term - it is just over 1/2 way.
Nothing like a broken condom to change people's minds :)
Happens a lot - be sure to get before and after pictures.
Don't dump her - converts like that are the the best persuaders in the future. On the contrary, see what you can do to turn her into a willing poster girl!
Just be a good supportive friend, don't judge her, and don't say I told you so. But when she comes through it OK, maybe yo can invite her to join you in volunteering at the local Planned Parenthood in the springtime. She will see that there are other girls and women like her and that she is not so special or different from the others.
Make sure your friend gets on the pill, or at least knows how to get morning after pills so she doesn't have to ever have an abortion again.
Then go hard after your local school board for their lack of proper sex education.
If she can't be your friend anymore because of her shame, and she doesn't come around, then those before and after pictures can be provided to the school newspaper - her position as head of the RTL group certainly makes her a public enough figure on campus that if she hasn't quit, then she is susceptible to being exposed. But do all you can to not let it come to that. I think she will flip for you.

I say wait and see if she gets some much needed perspective from her situation.
There was a New York Times article a while back, interviewing people at an abortion clinic in Arkansas. Most of the women there to get abortions believed that they are wrong, but either felt that their situation was excusable, or that everyone sins and this is their sin.
She might be in a lot of emotional anguish, and you should be there for her as support, and hopefully she will change her mind about abortion.

you realize you mustn't and you do no longer want to so do no longer do it. in case you enable this you may remorseful approximately this for something of your existence.there are ideas to abortion. She is being egocentric and attempting to manage you into feeling responsible. that's no longer appropriate no remember if she has or has never suggested no to you. You 2 are no longer bartering favors here. there is too plenty at stake! She has distinctive nerve placing you interior the midst of this. Of each and all the stupid hair brained motives. breaking apart together with her fiance. What a load of bull****! And the place is the daddy in all this? This guy needs to step as much as his household tasks-pronto. He can no longer basically stroll off now. He needs to be in in this so pass locate him. Loyalty isn't a controversy here. you're able to be there for her. and you will too. yet there isn't any way you're able to even evaluate spending this form of money on any such frivolous irresponsible action. This smacks interior the face of something sane and rational. now's a time once you could, and would, say no to her. So here that's. She needs to settle for the actuality that having this baby is going to ensue. There are not the different ideas.

Your friends morals are completely stupid and weird. How can you not support abortion but get an abortion and justify it by saying that the condom broke. Dump her.
