You said you can't imagine spending Christmas without your kids. This tells me that you and your sister are no longer kids. You are grown with families of your own. You may want your Mom at Christmas, but you no longer need her. You are all adults, including your Mom. She has made her decision. She sees you all the next day, doesn't she? It's not smart to overload Christmas Day with too many visits or too much stuff. It's better to spread it over the Christmas season if possible. You could ask if for just one year if you and your sister and your families can come over on Christmas Day along with her boyfriend and their family. Maybe you can spend an hour with her over there on Christmas Day, then come back the next day to spend more time with her. Merry Christmas!

well queen elizabeth is a murderer so she's a big no.......would love to meet celine dion or gwen stefani, as well as simon cowell, though i would worry he would intimidate me. i think the most interesting of the bunch would be whoopie goldberg as far as being comfortable and being able to find things to talk about....she always seems so real and down to earth.
