My last name is Rinze.... and it's pronounced like "rinse" so my nickname growing up was rinse-and-repeat (like the instructions on the back of a shampoo bottle). I hated that nickname! The kids started using it after one of my teachers in 3rd grade started calling me that. He had pet names for all the kids in class. I didn't mind having him call me that name because I had a little-girl crush on him. But the name caught on, and I will forever be remembered as rinse-and-repeat

It was boring and lacking in creativity. I secretly wished for a cool nickname like spunkmeyer or doodles. Anything beyond the boring obvious. My nickname was about as creative as calling me "girl". lol.
