I think yellow is a cheerful color.

I am not much for yellow. Never have been. Not a matter of being dorky, but just not my color. In the right shades it does look pretty in a kitchen or a babys room. For clothing- no that was back in the 80's. We don't want to go there again.

yellow is a primary color and as such is an ingredient in making other colors..... so how can it be dorky?
Wearing yellow means the person is confident in themselves.
Restaurants use yellow to make customers feel homey and hungry... can you say McDonalds?

It depends on how you wear it. I think yellow can look really nice if you wear it with jeans or something that is not as bright. Don't worry if people think it's a dorky color,if it looks good on you and you can pull it off wear it!
I wear some yellow tank tops, polos and sweaters and I usually wear them with dark denim.

Well depends on you. There's are a lot of shades of yellow and some of them are dorky, but most of them aren't. Just choose what you think.
