Humans are fallible beings by nature. Because of that, our advancement will always be a struggle. And I think its unrealistic to believe we will ever all be on the same page about the direction humanity as a whole should take. So world peace may be hoping for too much. I think the threat of extinction has always existed in some form, of course now that threat may be brought on by our own doing. But we are inventive and ingenious creatures, so that quality gives me hope.

I also think its unrealistic to believe science and religion can strike a balance. Science bases truth on evidence and sees faith as a hindrance to truth. Religion bases its truth on faith without the requirement of evidence. This is a fundamental difference that cant be reconciled.

I do believe it is possible though to acheive a certain degree of peace and tolerance, even without religion. Insights in the field of social sciences, like psychology have come a long way in the past century. Psychologists have gained a better understanding of more positive human traits like happiness and empathy and have a good understanding of how to influence change in that direction. This information, which is based on research, is now readily available in libraries and bookstores.

'As a mystic there one truth that mankind resist, that in the spiritual realm there is only peace. There are not any enemies or conflict in the spiritual center. Also, that peace exist right now. It is the core reality. There isn't any battle against Good and Evil in the spiritual realm. the central myth of Western historical Man is the world is a stage for the individual's battle against Good and Evil. Since Adam and Eve bite the fruit of knowledge of Good and Evil humanity will always find a reason to fight.

If humans are ever going to be able to work cooperatively with each other, in an effort to rectify our mistakes, then some kind of peace among humans has to be worked toward.
Is peace necessary for the world to last...NO!
All humans could disappear off the face of the world tomarrow and it wouldn't matter to Nature at all, only to pets who are being fed and loved. The rest of Nature does not need us.

Ancient Europeans wrote about Ages of Man.

There are also many other references to various
types of world ages or Ages of Man in Hopi
(worlds), Mayan (suns) and other cultures of
antiquity. Giorgio de Santillana, the former
professsor of the history of science, mentions
approximately thirty ancient cultures that
believed in the concept of a series of ages and
the rise and fall of history, with alternating
Dark and Golden Ages.

More details of these Ages are available in the
Yuga concept of the Hindus. The present age
is known as Kali Yuga (age of darkness).

I think if people really went back to the Original Kingdom Gospel about increasing the light of life and living water... it would be a big help. But unfortunately, the Pauline gospel of sacrifice for sins has dominated the attention of so many.

This resource is about that Original Gospel... I think that would be a big help.
