to get all the gifts they want. My daughter wants alot- and I just can't get everything! It's tight this year, sometimes I think more stress and expectation on myself to get the gifts , when she would just be satisfied with a few toys. Do you ever find yourself feeling like this?

Indeed I do. I just went through my bank account to see how much I have to work with. I'm on the verge of tears because we just don't have the money this year, even for a small Christmas. My kids have not asked for much and never really do. But we don't get them a lot of *stuff* during the year and this is the one time I'd like to give a little extra.

No because my daughter is still small and hasn't yet started asking for the expensive stuff. I dread that coming. She's still happy with play-doh and cheap paints and coloring books and dress up shoes and play make-up. You need to ask your family(grandma and grandpa?) to help you out with some of the things she wants that are a bit expensive. Good luck sweetie! ^-~

Its only because you put pressure on yourself to do better than your mother did for you.
