Well, the problem with that is that there's no way to know if there's an even worse reality on the other side.

"Its not the circumstances that determine who u going to be but how you deal with the problems and pains that come your way." - Mat Kearney
I think that it would be an easy way out of this reality, but not great. Suicide seems so selfish. I feel for you because I often want to escape this reality too. But then again, what is beyond this reality? Does nothingness even exist? Is there really a heaven and hell?
For good reasons, I believe there is something more. A place that will fill this emptiness that I feel so often. I've come to figure that this emptiness really is a longing to be with God in a place where pain no longer exists. To be with love. To be happy all the time. For some people, this would be hell, but not for me. Being a former agnostic, I have come to believe there is a God through science, philosophy, and theology. Out of all the religions, the Judeo-Christian God is the only God that I would want to worship and be with for eternity.
The sooner I leave this place, the better. But only after I have finished my purpose in this life.
Edit: Suicide is the easy way out. Dying is easy, living is hard.

Death is the ONLY way out of this reality. Drugs don't really count; pain doens't REALLY go away when you can't feel it. You're still in reality, even if you're not aware of it.
As such, it doesn't really matter if death is a great way out of reality or not, there is no other reference (nothing to compare death to as a way out) since it's the only way out.
Suicide, on the other hand, is a cowardly act of mentally anguished persons. Existence preceeds essence. If there's something you don't like about your life, YOU need to THINK about what YOU need to change, and DO IT. Nobody is going to do it for you because you act sad every day (even if they did it for you, it probably wouldn't be very satisfying). And as a side critique of procrastination, if you NEVER decide to do something TODAY, you will NEVER do it; in order to postpone an act you MUST actually DO IT when the time comes that you intially postponed it to. If you keep putting it off, it will never occur! Change always happens in present time.
Don't be stupid; don't kill yourself. It is utterly selfish and adolescent. Sometimes it can seem that your own intelligence is a weakness, but your intelligence should help you to understand what's wrong with your life and how to fix it.

I personally don't think you have the right to such an act. We didn't create ourselves and we have no right to kill ourselves. Study the world around you. Do you see animals, insects or any species committing suicide? Only human beings commit suicide. There is not a person on this planet that can explain life. If they could they could tell you what lies at the end of the universe, or what the smallest particle is, but they can't. Don't let some paper toting, office dwelling, starched shirt know it all convince you that he knows what's best for you. Get on your knees and ask someone who really knows before you do something you may regret.

Well this is not reality so no. Suicide never ends suffering, it only increases. Why? Because if one takes their own life, they will have to remain a miserable ghost and suffer incessently the misery they experienced at the time of death. Then they will be tormented by other miserable disembodied souls. They are more lonely because practically no one hears or sees them. They have no senses to enjoy, so they try to inhabit other bodies. It is a very miserable condition. -We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). After many lifetimes of trying to be happy in this temporary world one becomes frustrated and board and begins to question their existence. We then seek out real happiness, and when one becomes sincere God reveals how to come back Home. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which begins with the chanting of the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion), which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can give up all material attachments and fully surrender to God and return to the eternal Kingdom, where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. FOr info go to harekrishnatemple.com Read The Science of Self Realization by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada. End all misery in the right way.

You feel this way because you take it way too seriously. It was intended to be fun.
This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.
This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.
At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.
We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.
These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.
From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.
I hope that helps to answered your question.
Love and blessings Don

If it were only that easy, my friend. You have an obligation (to God and yourself) to fulfill the chart you wrote. You have things left undone, unsaid, that must be completed before your time is up. If you decide to hurry it along, you will only loop back around and come back in with the same problems, the same issues, etc. You think you get out of it that easy? Suicide doesn't end things, it begins things...all over again for you. Figure out what it is you are here for, and start doing it. I wish you a big dose of spirituality. Peace.

You'd likely benefit by reading "Men in White Apparel," Ann Ree Colton, "Testimony of Light," Helen Greaves, and even "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, as examples of what taking one's life brings. A further caution is any drug abuse brings more horrific problems, if the user does not live a natural lifespan.

That's bad you feel that way. Think of how your mom, your friends would feel if you did that. And you would never know how "Lost" turns out or who wins the World Series next year, or the Super Bowl, etc. etc. You should buy an older dog from the animal rescue league near you. You need something to care about, and you will receive unconditional love in return. Good luck.

Reality is malleable and is responsive to consciousness. Why not take up the challenge and through changing your mind, take control of your experience. You are here to experience bliss NOT misery based on the conditioning of your ego identity. Observe the patterns that cause the despair and trace the embedded 'beliefs' behind the patterns back to the source in early experience. THEN change your mind and change your life.
