What *I* hate, esp. w/ big spiders & big roaches is when you spot one in your room, you run out to find the bug spray & when you come back.....they're Gone! They can be Anywhere! & EVERYthing feels like a bug crawling on you after that. You cannot SLEEP until it's either you ....or that bug.

San Jose Del Cabo a huge *** spider picked my shoe to take a nap. As I was putting my foot into it It decided to jump on the top of my foot and bite me. I had a bruise and it became infected. Mexico is not the place to need a doctor.

I was under a house with termites.
first step is to remove the rubbish under the house ,then trench around all the piers and foundations then rake the soil to try to get the chemical to spread evenly .
All this was done and I was up to the final stage of flooding the trenches and ground with chemical.
As usual the termites had entered the house at the lowest point.
I was on my belly , my back jambed in against a floor bearer and unable to move fast.
As i was flooding the trench a funnel web spider walked out of the trench and reared up to attack me (for those that don't know a funnel web is a extremely deadly Australian spider ,with a bad attitude , They rear up and show their fangs when they attack & they can bite through your finger nails )
It was no more than 18 inches from my face
The only thing I could do was point the wand at it a spray it , To my suprise it stood its ground against the pressure & I though this is it I am dead.
It was only for a few seconds but it felt like 10 minutes it turned and walked away.
I have had many experences with insects and aninals in my job as most pest controllers would also have many stories.
Another quick one that comes to mind.
Before we used gel to treat german cockroaches ,we use powder and spray.
The powder was puffed into cracks to flush cockroaches out , they would run every where.
I treated this unit where the tennants had run off without paying the rent & I have never seen a worst infestation.
Cockroaches where in every thing ,they where running up my arms , legs , tank and so on. When I got home that night I undressed to have a shower and cockroaches droped out of my undies.

A couple of years ago I was at a friend's house when I received my first bee sting.
We were sitting outside on some rocks that circled a tree. All of a sudden, I felt a sharp pain on my hand. I screamed and jumped up. My friend thought I was just being a child and screaming at a bug, that was until she got stung as well. Then I got stung again and we both started screaming and running. I got stung a total of 7 times and she did 5. It was awful at the time, but hilarious afterward for some reason. I don't know why, but once we were away from them I laughed so hard my sides hurt....
Edit: Never seen one of those! And, well, I don't want to :-S

I still to this day do not know what the name of this creature was. It was littler bigger than a quarter and look like an arachnaphob, only it probably was my paranoia thinking that it was anyway. Scary thing is this creature was in the middle of the doorway where I wanted to get pass, I hate things with more than four legs but it was even freakier that this "THING" could fly! I screamed soo loud I swear you could shatter glass! I walked around the whole building where the next exit happen to get to on a whole different street just to get to another door!
eeek!!
I would have done anything to not come into contact with that creature!

About 3 years ago I went into my bedroom, and luckily I'd left the light on because next to the light switch was a HUGE spider.
Diagonally, it was about 5 inches across! It was one of those thick black ones with hairs, and I just started screaming. My mum thought I was over-reacting, until she saw it!
I can cope with small to medium spiders, but that... NO!!!!
And then there was the night I saw a small spider run across my sheets. I just would not get into bed until I caught it!

Holy smokes that's a big wasp.
Once I was showering a I felt a heavy thud on my shoulder, then down my leg, I though a piece of the ceiling fell on me. Turned out it was a HUGE centipede. Quiet scary. It was about 3 inches long, is that long for a centipede?
EDIT: It was Psycho, insect style!

This was like less than a month ago..
I have a solid black backpack for school, and on the way to school i saw something brown near the buckle.
I thought it was a wood chip for some reason or another, and I picked it up to throw it away when it sprouted legs and after me touching its bottomside for like 2 whole seconds I spazzed and dropped it.. and it crawled up my arm!!
This is what it was:

Ugh, I want to throw up just thinking about it.

Mine was with a Sewer Roach, I was about to spray it to kill it, then when I got within in a foot, it started flying toward me, I ran screaming, turned to look it was almost in my hair. I slammed the bedroom door shut, and peeked in looking for it, when it started crawling all over, I started spraying everywhere stomping on it over and over, it wouldn't die....until finally I decided I tortured the thing enough. I came back in an hour, it was laying dead, thank God.

My scariest encounter was a couple years ago when I was standing in the dining room and felt something going across my body. When I shook myself I looked down and saw a roach. Yes, the roach was walking on me.
