Slacks and a button up shirt. Lots of the guys here at the Bank have to wear ties but since I work in the computer dept., we are "Business Casual" and sometimes on Fridays, we wear jeans.

I used to have to wear a tie on one of my computer jobs (Vandenberg AFB) even though we were always under desks or running cable in the ceilings. I'd have to bring a second set of clothes in case I ended up dirty.

The only job I had to wear a regular uniform (besides the Air Force) was when I drove for UPS. BTW, that was the hardest job I ever had. In and out of that truck at least 50 times a day.

Oh, wait the short answer is .... No. :+}

I was a nurse for 33 years and in the beginning we had to wear those terrible white uniforms. I worked on a psychiatric unit and had to spend some time taking people down or getting on the floor to give someone an injection. I was glad when they switched to street clothes. They still arent supposed to wear scruffy jeans or tank tops, but other than that-we could go from work to the movies or whatever.

I dress pretty much how I want. I work both in the office (very casual) or in the warehouse depending on the day's requirement. Right now it's a bit cool in the warehouse and I am working both. I wear a t-shirt, flannel shirt, flannel sweat shirt, hooded pull over sweat shirt and a heavy jacket as well as 2 pair of socks, steel toe boots, flannel boxers and gloves and a hat. It's actually colder in the warehouse than it is outside!'
And in the summer it's often hotter in than out. Then it's jeans & t-shirt. We can wear shorts as long as they are no shorter than 4 inches above the knee.
The only time I've 'dressed up' for work (shirt & tie) was when I was meeting with foreign naval officers in preparation for a ship turn over. We do logistics work when one of our old ships is sold to a foreign navy.

When I worked I was the graveyard shift supervisor in the poker room of a Nevada casino. I had about fourteen outfits. They were the Lady Bend overs brand. Slacks and a long vest with pockets. With a nice blouse they were perfect for my job. Wash and wear too, no ironing. I had them in all colors.
When I was younger on that job I dressed to the nines. Suits, dresses, high heels, the works. As I got older, I got smarter, and dressed for comfort.

I can wear as much or as little as I want

I own a small business in California and I do alot of the work from New Mexico on the computer.......But the days I need to make phone calls, I do make sure am not naked. lol

No, on the for real side the days I have to make phone calls I dress professional( the same as if I was there)
I put my make-up on nice shoes...
When I am dressed professional and feel professional ..I do a better job.....

i've got continually enjoyed the adult males outfits from convey and Banana Republic with the aid of fact they seem to be a tad bit dressier than different places and their outfits are not any exception. they have some truly severe-high quality outfits that optimistically won't fee you an arm and a leg. If those 2 places are too costly or you won't be able to discover something you like then you definately could check out their sister shops, old army and hollow. while all else fails - Macy's or Ann Taylor.

Contrary to what Mr. Ed said, many of us still DO WORK Full Time!. I'm 65 and plan to work for as long as I'm able :-)

My job is fairly casual...what they call professional casual...but I can wear slacks, sweaters, regular shoes, etc. and on Fridays we can wear jeans and tennis shoes...can't complain whatsoever! I am SO glad to be out of government where I had to dress for success...silk dresses, dress suits, hose, and high heels! LOL

Business casual most days. Suits depending on what's going down at the office.

I work at the local school cafeteria, so I have to wear scrubs (top and bottoms to match) to work. Monday through Thursday is scrubs of solid color (any color except for black), on Friday we wear a school shirt (that we buy from them) and our blue jeans. White shoes every day, no other color in them at all.

Due to the fact that it is Dec., we have a Christmas shirt that we bought from the school that we get to wear it on Mondays and Fridays. On Mondays we wear it with scrubs pants and on Friday we wear it with our jeans.

We have to buy all our own uniforms and so there for if we were to quit or get fired, we keep all our own uniforms.

At my job the men must wear button shirt and tie or shirt and sweater. The women can wear dresses or slacks no jeans or tee-shirts. No denim ever, no "athletic" or "beach type" shoes. Nylons or socks must be worn. It is an office that deals with the public.
