I've been working on a large pencil portrait..and my younger sister got a spot of juice (..I think it's juice) on it. I've tried using an eraser, and I'm afraid to ruin the picture by scratching at it..is there a way to safely remove this without ruining the picture?

Even with ruining the picture that spot is there to stay. Fruit juice gets into the fibers of the paper and is there to stay.

Sorry. I hope your sister can forgive you for being this mad at her. :)

You can try to bleach it with hydrogen peroxide but it will remain visible. Cotton swab and roll it over the stain. Do not drench the spot just touch it with the damp swab. Wait a while and repeat. Let the paper dry completely before doing it again. Do NOT place it on any heat source to get it dry quicker.

ouch! that happened to one of my drawings once. the wind blew a vase of the sill and onto my art. Unfortunately there is nothing that will remove the stain without smudging the pencil. You could try Bestine, but I think you just might have to start over. It will be good practice.

I doubt you will be able to remove the stain, an alternative to starting again might be to add more stains, make them part of your drawing, try different juices.
