I was always taught to respect them and others. I remember in shop class when everyone ran out when the propane tank cause fire as the valve. I stay and didin't freak and Mr. Thrash came over and turned it off. So I thought we had an understanding until the crazy guy in the class, he fired off a tear gas gun in the bathroom and put a broom in the door and locked it, threw a bar of soap at me. He was just a nutty kid. So I threw it back and we both got alick for that. The teach told me i should not have thrown it back, so I countered and said you would have paddled him and not me right?, he said right, so I said he nocked the stuffings out of me and I to him so we do not need a paddle. But to not avail.

She might have done the homwork deal, but i have seem smiles like that before on presidential candidates and many say it hides evil! So who knows, hope they don't get mad at you for writing this, but you didn't use any names. Take care.

I don't believe she was set up by her students and in the Sudan this is a normal thing for children to do and in other countries it's considered really a good thing to allow children to voice their opinions and they sure do have opinions. There are extremists everywhere who focus their lives on eliminating anyone they can. As evidenced in Darfur.

I think that she should also have known that same religious "law". I also believe that the punishment suits the crime, as the punishment was known by the teacher beforehand. This is one of those issues that Western civilization can not judge as we are not familiar with the religions and customs of that country, and cannot force an opinion on the subject out of our own ignorance.
