Fake. They look so much better to me and I can just have the same one up every year without going out to buy a new one. The real trees just have a lot of pine needles everywhere. I just get real pine cones that have the scent and put them in my fake tree.

I prefer the look and scent of a real one, but the reality of time constraints force me to settle for a fake one.

i love real ones, but i am forced to use a fake one, but its still great. Christmas is wonderful, either way.

Fake. It's just easier and less messy.
We got one that was pre-lit so I never have to worry about detangling and putting the lights on or if they are even. It's already done for me!
Plus they last for a long time.

A real one! For years I had to use a plastic one b/c our apt wouldn't allow it. I love the smell of real trees!
