It's a time for love, life, joy and fun. A time too let things go and be happy. Also, a time when you don't and I stress don't forget those that are not with us over the festive time. I guess what I am trying to say here is that it's a time to be with those you love deeply, though, for some sadly, they are on there own, but they have deep fond memories.

Remember Jesus - Forget yourself.
Think about others. Think about those less fortunate.
Think about those you love.
Pray that one day, someone can love you like that.
When you learn that nobody does, don't get down about it, just keep being nice and maybe someday . . . .

To be with the ones you love, the ones that love you and, ultimately try and remember why we celebrate the day. I'm not a particularly religious man, but I do feel this time of the year does give us all a time to focus on our own personal spirituality and what it means to know peace, if only for one day.
Good question btw. Too many people focus on Christmas as a commercial exercise. It isn't.

it does not exist anymore,, it just all money money money, and really it is a great spirit for all the shop owners, rubbing there hands together and hearing ching ching on their tills.. and euro or dollar signs in their eyes.. the real spirit of Christmas is gone..

Or its a time to share your good will to others you dont know,,,And of cource presents cant forget those....

A time to reflect on all my years blessing, a time to share all the blessings I have, a time to remember all that I want to be. To share with my family and friends and humanity a time to pray for peace on earth good will towards men.

I thank God for his love to this filthy world. For sending Jesus to die for us. It's my time for thinking about it, and bringing me back to what really matters,
And also starbucks holiday specials (Ignore the thinning wallet) and the christmas tree at night when everyone is asleep. And taking walks in the snow at night and running in it till I collapse and bury myself in it.
Making presents for my friends and family and listening to christmas music.
playing carols on my piano.

It says Don't fall into the commercial trap and spend too much money on stuff no one needs or really wants!
